4Plus Documentary Photography Center presents first western Armenian translation of the major oeuvre of one of the most influential philosophers of the 20th century, which is of great importance for both the professional community and the general public.
The book includes popular articles by Benjamin and his essay “A Short History of Photography”.
This initiative is the first in a series of publications 4Plus is planning to realize to present and promote world artists and thinkers, as well as seminal works on the history of photography.
The project was realized with the support of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
The book is translated by philosopher, literary critic and translator Marc Nichanian, who also wrote the epilogue.
